Kodak PIXPRO WPZ2 Waterproof Digital Camera: Waterproof to 15 m, shockproof to 2 m, with Wi-Fi
The Kodak PIXPRO WPZ2 Waterproof Digital Camera (Red) is a 16 MP rugged compact that is waterproof to 15 m, shockproof from 2 m and dustproof, with a 4x optical zoom, 1080p video and Wi-Fi. Available from Kodak at Camerahaus.
Who Is This Made For?
The WPZ2 is for beach, pool, boat and hiking trips where a phone or an ordinary camera would not survive.
Waterproof to 15 m
Sealed to IPX8, the WPZ2 can be used in, on and under the water down to 15 metres without a housing.
Shockproof and dustproof
Rated to survive drops from 2 metres and sealed against dust to IP6X, so it suits beaches, boats, pools and hiking.
Underwater mode and white balance
A dedicated Underwater shooting mode and an Underwater white-balance preset correct the colour cast below the surface.
4x optical zoom, 16 MP sensor
A 27 to 108 mm equivalent lens and a 16.35 megapixel back-illuminated CMOS sensor record stills and Full HD 1080p video.
Built-in Wi-Fi
Transfer photos to a phone or control the camera remotely over Wi-Fi with the companion app.
6 fps burst
Continuous shooting at about 6 frames per second at full resolution helps catch action, with faster reduced-resolution modes available.
Rechargeable lithium-ion power
The LB-015 pack charges in camera over USB and is rated for about 200 shots per charge under CIPA testing.
