Tokina opera 16-28mm F2.8 FF Lens for Canon EF: Full-frame 16-28mm F2.8 ultra-wide zoom
The Tokina opera 16-28mm F2.8 FF Lens for Canon EF is a full-frame 16-28mm F2.8 ultra-wide zoom with a built-in hood, ring-type ultrasonic autofocus and the opera line coatings. Available from Tokina at Camerahaus.
Who Is This Made For?
The opera 16-28mm F2.8 is for landscape and architecture shooters on Canon DSLRs who want a fast ultra-wide.
Premium full-frame ultra-wide
The opera series successor to the AT-X 16-28 PRO FX, re-engineered for high-resolution full-frame DSLRs.
Constant f/2.8 from 16mm
A 107° view at 16mm with a fast constant aperture suits astro, architecture and interiors.
Six special elements
Three asphericals, including a large P-MO element, and three SD elements suppress distortion, coma and colour fringing.
Fast, quiet AF
A silent drive DC motor and GMR sensor deliver quick, accurate focusing.
One-touch Focus Clutch
Pull the ring back for manual focus; the focus ring now turns the same way as the camera maker's own lenses.
Filter holder compatible
Tokina confirms the hood shape is identical to the AT-X 16-28, so the same square filter holders fit.
