Speciality glass and an XGM aspherical element push distortion and lateral colour fringing even lower than the acclaimed A012.
AX coating
Tamron's Anti-reflection eXpand coating applies evenly across the strongly curved front element for cleaner edges and better colour.
4.5-stop VC with Dual MPU
Separate processors for autofocus and stabilisation deliver quicker AF and CIPA-rated 4.5 stops of correction.
Durable fluorine coating
A new water- and oil-repellent compound makes the exposed front element easier to clean and protects it long term.
Sealed SP construction
Moisture-resistant seals, a metal mount and an integrated petal hood built for landscape and astro work.
