The SP 24-70mm F2.8 is for wedding and event shooters on Nikon DSLRs who want a stabilised F2.8 standard zoom.
First F/2.8 standard zoom with stabilisation
Tamron's three-coil VC system keeps the viewfinder image steady and allows hand-held shooting in low light.
USD ultrasonic autofocus
A ring-type ultrasonic motor gives quiet, high-torque focusing with full-time manual override.
Rounded 9-blade diaphragm
Designed for smooth background blur that isolates the subject.
Moisture-resistant construction
