Tamron 17-50mm F4 Di III VXD Lens for Sony E: Full-frame 17-50mm F4 wide-to-standard zoom
The Tamron 17-50mm F4 Di III VXD Lens for Sony E (Model A068) is a full-frame 17-50mm F4 zoom with the VXD linear motor and a 67mm filter thread, covering wide to standard in one lens. Available from Tamron at Camerahaus.
Who Is This Made For?
The 17-50mm F4 is for vloggers and travel shooters who want one lens from 17mm to 50mm.
Ultra-wide to standard in one lens
The first full-frame zoom to cover 17mm through 50mm, so one lens handles wide landscapes, interiors and everyday standard-length shots.
Constant F4 with pleasing bokeh
A fixed F4 aperture keeps exposure steady while zooming and still delivers soft background rendering at 50mm.
Internal zoom, compact body
Internal zooming keeps the 114.4mm length constant; at 460g it balances well on gimbals and compact bodies.
Quiet, precise VXD focusing
The VXD linear motor focuses quickly and silently, making the lens a natural fit for video work.
Close focusing at 0.19m
A short minimum object distance lets you capture small subjects in detail with wide perspective.
Lens Utility and protective coatings
Customise functions via the TAMRON Lens Utility app; moisture-resistant construction plus fluorine coating on the front and rear surfaces, and a 67mm filter size.
