The X-T5 is for photographers who want the highest resolution in the X Series with direct, dial-based control. Landscape, travel, portrait and street shooters who print large or crop hard will get the most from it, and it still records 6.2K video when needed.

40.2MP X-Trans CMOS 5 HR and X-Processor 5

The back-illuminated 40.2-megapixel sensor resolves fine detail with Fujifilm's colour science, and X-Processor 5 handles it at 15 frames per second with the mechanical shutter or 20fps electronic. Pixel Shift Multi-Shot combines 20 frames into a 160MP file for still subjects.

Three Dials, Zero Menus

ISO, shutter speed and exposure compensation each get a locking, machined dial on the top plate, and XF lenses add an aperture ring. Exposure is set by hand before the camera reaches your eye, which is why so many photographers stay with the X-T line.

7-Stop In-Body Stabilisation and a 3.69M-Dot EVF

Five-axis IBIS steadies handheld shots down to slow shutter speeds, and the 0.8x, 3.69-million-dot OLED viewfinder gives a large, clear view. The 3-inch, 1.84M-dot LCD tilts three ways for waist-level and portrait-orientation framing.

Subject Detection AF and 6.2K Video

Deep-learning autofocus recognises animals, birds, cars, motorcycles, aircraft and trains, alongside face and eye detection for people. Video records 6.2K/30p and 4K/60p in 4:2:2 10-bit internally, with F-Log2 for grading.
