Fujifilm XF 23mm F2 R WR: The Compact 35mm-Equivalent Everyday Lens
A prime camera lens for the X Series system with an F2 maximum aperture, equivalent to 35mm in 35mm terms and weighing just 180g. It is weather sealed, and built to draw the full resolution out of Fujifilm's sensors.
Who Is This Made For?
The XF 23mm F2 R WR is for everyday and street photographers who want one prime that sees the way the eye does, for people, food, travel and detail. It is small enough to leave on the camera all day, and its F2 maximum aperture gives plenty of light for evenings and interiors.
Optics Designed for High-Resolution Sensors
The XF 23mm F2 R WR uses 10 elements 6 groups (includes 2 aspherical elements). Aspherical elements correct spherical aberration and distortion at the edges. Fujifilm's coatings control flare and ghosting for clean, contrasty images across the 63.4° angle of view.
Bright Aperture, Smooth Bokeh
The F2 maximum aperture and 9-blade rounded diaphragm produce soft, natural background blur and clean specular highlights. A physical aperture ring lets you set exposure by feel, the X Series way. Minimum aperture is F16.
Fast, Quiet Autofocus
A stepping motor delivers quiet, smooth autofocus suited to both stills and video. It focuses from 22cm with a maximum magnification of 0.13x.
Weather Sealed
The lens is sealed at multiple points against dust and moisture and rated to operate at -10°C. It measures ø60.0mm x 51.9mm and weighs 180g, and takes ø43mm filters.
