Optics Designed for High-Resolution Sensors
The XF 27mm F2.8 R WR uses 7 elements in 5 groups (includes 1 aspherical element). Aspherical elements correct spherical aberration and distortion at the edges. Fujifilm's coatings control flare and ghosting for clean, contrasty images across the 55.5° angle of view.
Bright Aperture, Smooth Bokeh
The F2.8 maximum aperture and 7-blade rounded diaphragm produce soft, natural background blur and clean specular highlights. A physical aperture ring lets you set exposure by feel, the X Series way. Minimum aperture is F16.
Fast, Quiet Autofocus
A stepping motor delivers quiet, smooth autofocus suited to both stills and video. It focuses from 34cm with a maximum magnification of 0.1x.
Weather Sealed
The lens is sealed at multiple points against dust and moisture and rated to operate at -10°C. It measures Ø62mm x 23mm and weighs 84g, and takes Ø39mm filters.
