Ricoh GRIIIx / GR3x 40mm Digital Camera

Ricoh GR IIIx: The Street Camera with a 40mm Point of View

The compact camera that made the GR famous, now with a 40mm equivalent GR lens for tighter, more natural framing. A 24MP APS-C sensor, 3-axis stabilisation and instant Snap focus, all in a body that fits in a pocket.

Who Is This Made For?

The GR IIIx is for street, travel and everyday photographers who prefer the 40mm view for portraits, details and scenes without the wide-angle stretch of 28mm. If you want a Ricoh camera you can carry every day and shoot one-handed, this is the one.

A New 40mm GR Lens

The 26.1mm F2.8 lens (40mm equivalent) was designed from scratch for the GR IIIx. Its 7-element construction with 3 aspherical elements delivers edge-to-edge sharpness and smooth background blur, and focuses down to 12cm in macro mode.

24MP APS-C Sensor and GR ENGINE 6

A large 24.24-megapixel APS-C sensor without a low-pass filter captures rich detail and clean high-ISO files up to ISO 102400. Image Control presets such as Positive Film, Hi-Contrast B&W and Cross Processing give you a finished look straight out of camera, with 14-bit RAW when you want to edit.

Snap Focus and a Start-Up Under a Second

Full Press Snap fires at a preset distance the instant you press the shutter, so nothing is lost to focusing. Hybrid AF, a touchscreen and a quiet leaf shutter make the GR IIIx one of the fastest and most discreet cameras for candid work.

3-Axis Shake Reduction, Touchscreen and Wireless

Sensor-shift Shake Reduction steadies handheld shots in low light, and the 3-inch touchscreen handles focus point selection and menus. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth send images to the Image Sync app, and USB-C charges the battery on the go.
